Collab, a digital content studio that connects social influencers especially from Vine, appointed Eric Jacks as its chief strategy officer Tuesday.

Previously, Jacks ran the entertainment and intellectual property group at Rogers & Cowan and helped manage global brand partnerships in CAA’s Lifestyle Talent division and its digital content team. He also was executive producer of entertainment at Yahoo.

Collab acts like a multichannel network for digital stars, with an emphasis on mobile video like Twitter’s six-second clip app Vine, and it has a studio facility for talent in its network. The company said Jacks will oversee its relationship with brands, agencies and entertainment partners, as well as work with talent.

“Collab has a unique opportunity as it develops and delivers original content and IP with top talent and brands across a variety of platforms,” Jacks said in a statement.
