Wan, who directed “The Conjuring,” produced the horror film starring Maria Bello and Frank Grillo

“Demonic,” a horror film produced by James Wan, will be released by Dimension Films on Dec. 12, the studio announced on Thursday.

Maria Bello (“A History of Violence”) and Frank Grillo (“The Purge: Anarchy”) co-star as a psychologist and detective, respectively, investigating the brutal murder of five college students inside a home the victims believed to be haunted.
