Donald Trump mentioned his daughter Ivanka when asked about potential females that will be part of his cabinet if he wins the presidential election.

“I can tell you everybody would say, ‘Put Ivanka in, put Ivanka in,’ you know that, right?” Trump told First Coast News. “She’s very popular, she’s done very well, and you know Ivanka very well.”

Trump was speaking with Angelia Savage, who co-host’s “The Chat” on First Coast News and used to work for the Trump organization. Buzzfeed obtained the entire transcript from the interview, in which Trump jokingly offers Savage a cabinet position if he wins.

“But there really are so many that are really talented people — like you, you’re so talented, but I don’t know if your viewers know that,” Trump said before Savage replied, “Is this breaking news? Am I gonna be in the cabinet?”

We assume Trump wasn’t serious about Savage, but Ivanka has made a good impression over the course of the campaign and many have speculated about potential political careers for the Trump children after they’ve taken on such a large role within their father’s campaign.

Ivanka, a former model, is currently executive vice president of acquisitions and development at the Trump Organization and has a variety of clothing and jewelry lines. Her speech at the Republican National Convention was well received, but many critics felt that her views, while well articulated, coincide more with the Democratic Party’s views than the GOP.
