Donald Trump went after Hillary Clinton on Monday, accusing the Democratic frontunner of lying about ISIS featuring him in a recruitment video while also commenting in crude terms about her loss to Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential race.
“She was going to beat [Obama,] she was favored to win, and she got schlonged,” Trump said at a rally in Michigan.
“She lost, I mean she lost,” he quickly clarified. The Donald also chimed in on Clinton’s bathroom break during the Democratic debate on Saturday.
“What happened to her? I’m watching the debate and she disappeared. Where did she go?” Trump asked, adding in his guess watching at home was she was bailing on the debate.
“I know where she went, it’s disgusting,” he continued before cautioning, “I don’t want to talk about it. It’s too disgusting.”
Clinton hasn’t shied away from combatting with the GOP frontrunner; her campaign adamantly refused to apologize on Monday for her claims that Trump is being featured in ISIS recruitment videos.
It’s a growing possibility that Trump and Clinton may square off against one another in the general election, meaning Trump’s crude comments about Clinton will be showed ad nauseam in Clinton attack ads.
