Vladimir Putin has said that the Obama administration is trying to undermine the legitimacy of President-elect Donald Trump, according to the Associated Press.

The Russian president, speaking at a news conference Tuesday, said that the recent dossier containing unverified news alleging that Trump participated in “golden showers” while in Moscow are “fake.” He added that whoever came up with the claims are “worse than prostitutes,” according to the AP.

Putin described the dossier as President Barack Obama’s administration trying to “undermine the legitimacy of the president-elect” after his “convincing” victory over Hillary Clinton.

BuzzFeed published the dossier “making explosive — but unverified” allegations against the president-elect. It alleged that the Russian government has been “cultivating, supporting and assisting” Trump for years.

The dossier included what BuzzFeed calls “specific, unverified, and potentially unverifiable allegations of contact between Trump aides and Russian operatives, and graphic claims of sexual acts documented by the Russians.”

One of the tidbits among the unverified documents include this story of Trump in a Russian hotel:

“According to Source D, where s/he had been present, TRUMP’s (perverted) conduct in Moscow included hiring the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he knew President and Mrs OBAMA (whom he hated) had stayed on one of their official trips to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a ‘golden showers’ (urination) in front of him.”

Trump and his team have repeatedly called the allegations fake news. It appears Putin agrees.
