Donald Trump’s Debate Prep Memos Include Digs at Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and ‘Criminal’ Hillary Clinton

“There are ten people on this stage tonight. Nine are running against Trump,” GOP frontrunner’s crib notes read

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has said time and time again that he’s not big on debate preparation, reinforcing the notion that he’s the “tell-it-like-it-is” candidate.

But MSNBC political reporter Kasie Hunt got her hands on debate prep memos from Donald Trump’s campaign, which could give some insight into how the business mogul will conduct himself during Thursday’s Republican debate in Cleveland, Ohio.

Hunt highlighted one particular retaliatory jab against Marco Rubio:

“Marco, you are a nice guy but you cannot even balance your personal checkbook. How can we trust you to handle the federal budget?”

There are some other swipes at rival Jeb Bush as well.

“It’s funny – when Jeb was governor [Point to Jeb] and you headed the Florida state legislature – the Florida state debt more than doubled.”

As for Ohio governor John Kasich, Trump’s notes say, “I call Jeb and you [John Kasich] The Lehman Brothers.”

And finally, an attack against Hillary Clinton as well as the rest of the Republican candidates on stage: “There are ten people on this stage tonight. Nine are running against Trump. One — me – is running against Hillary Clinton because she’d be a disaster for this country. She is a criminal.”

The main Republican debate airs Thursday at 9:00 p.m. on Fox.
