It’s a sad week for Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman.

The reality star, perhaps best known for his former A&E series “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” announced this week that he’s been “devastated” by the death of his younger sister, Jolene Kay Martinez.

Martinez was 62.

According to a post on Chapman’s Facebook page, Martinez “unexpectedly passed away from complications of pneumonia.” Chapman said that she was removed from life support on Monday night.

“Jolene was a very strong Christian, and I am absolutely positively sure she’s in heaven right now,” Chapman said. “But in Hawaii we don’t say ‘goodbye,’ we say ‘Aloha Oe … until we meet, again,’ and I know I will see my sister, again, which gives all of us some comfort at this very sad time.”

Martinez is survived by her two children and three siblings.

Chapman and his wife Beth most recently starred on the CMT series “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.”
