‘Dumb & Dumber To’: Harry Dunne Speaks for First Time in 20 Years (Video)

Jeff Daniels may play one of the smartest men on television in Aaron Sorkin’s “Newsroom,” but he hasn’t lost his touch when it comes to playing dumb

The directors of “Dumb & Dumber To” have released a video featuring Jeff Daniels speaking as Harry Dunne for the first time since starring in the 1994 comedy, “Dumb & Dumber,” proving age is just a number when it comes to looking stupid.

“Hey! Make a little Vine because you’re running out of time,” Daniels shouts in a Vine video Peter and Bobby Farrelly posted on their Twitter.

Daniels reprises his iconic role, alongside Jim Carrey as Lloyd Christmas, in another adventure where he’ll be tracking down his illegitimate daughter, who may be able to provide him with a kidney transplant.

The video is short, but it’s a fun to see Daniels back in action as dummy Dunne — in particular because the recent Emmy winner plays one of the biggest smart asses on television in HBO’s “Newsroom.”
