Ratings: Ellen DeGeneres’ Hidden-Camera ABC Show ‘Repeat After Me’ Debuts With a Whisper

Ellen DeGeneres‘ hidden-camera show “Repeat After Me” had a soft premiere on Tuesday, as ABC finished third in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic.

Univision finished fourth in the demo in primetime; NBC tied for fifth with the CW in ratings. Fox’s lineup bounced back at bit, finishing second among viewers 18-49.

CBS was first in ratings with a 2.0 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 13.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “NCIS” at 8 p.m. earned night-highs of a 2.5/8 and 17.7 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 9 received a 2.0/6 and 14.3 million viewers. “Person of Interest” at 10 got a 1.6/5 and 9.1 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 1.5/4 and third in viewers with 4.1 million. “MasterChef Junior” at 8 had a 1.8/5 — up 29 percent from last week — and 5.4 million viewers. “New Girl” at 9 got a 1.4/4 and 3.1 million viewers. “The Mindy Project” at 1.1/3 and 2.5 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 1.3/4 and second in viewers with 4.1 million. “Fresh Off the Boat” at 8 pulled in a 1.9/6 and 6.1 million viewers. The debut of “Repeat After Me” at 8:30 got a 1.4/4 and 4.3 million viewers. “Marvel’s Agent Carter” at 9 had a 1.4/4 and 4.1 million viewers. At 10, a special “Countdown to the Oscars: 15 Movies That Changed American Cinema” received a 0.8/2 and 3.1 million viewers.

Univision was fourth in ratings with a 1.2/4 and fifth in viewers with 3.1 million.

NBC and the CW tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 1.1/3. NBC was fourth in viewers with 3.7 million viewers; CW was sixth with 3 million viewers.

For NBC, “Parks and Recreation” at 8 got a 1.2/4 and 2.9 million viewers. At 8:30, a second episode dipped to a 1.1/3 and 2.5 million viewers. “Marry Me” at 9 had a 0.8/2 and 2.1 million viewers. At 9:30, “About a Boy” dropped from last week to a 0.7/2 and 2.4 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” at 10 received a 1.4/4 and 6.2 million viewers.

For CW, “The Flash” at 8 had a 1.4/4 and 3.7 million viewers. “Supernatural” at 9 got a 0.9/3 and 2.3 million viewers.

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.3 million.
