Watch Emilia Clarke Play a Nurse in Supernatural Thriller ‘Voice From the Stone’ (Exclusive Video)

Movie starring “Game of Thrones” actress arrives in theaters, VOD and Digital HD on April 28, 2017

Before she attempts to reclaim the iron throne this July, “Game of Thrones” headliner Emilia Clarke will be dealing with the supernatural in the new thriller “Voice From the Stone.”

Set in 1950s Tuscany, “Voice From the Stone” tells the haunting story of a nurse (Clarke) who helps a boy deal with the trauma of his mother’s sudden death. As she works with the troubled child, she becomes ensnared by a malevolent force inside the family’s castle.

In this exclusive clip provided to TheWrap, Clarke speaks with the boy and tells him, “You have her gift.” Watch the clip above.

Eric D. Howell directs from a script by Andrew Shaw, who adapted Silvio Raffo’s award-winning Italian novel “La Voce Della Pietra.” Howell makes his feature film directorial debut with “Voice From the Stone.” His credits include the short films “Ana’s Playground” and “Strangers,” which stars James Denton and Marta Milans.

The independently financed film was produced by Dean Zanuck and Stefano Gallini-Durante, Mark Wheaton exec produced. Zanuck’s producing credits include “Get Low” starring Robert Duvall, “Road to Perdition” starring Tom Hanks and Terry Gilliam’s upcoming “The Zero Theorem,” which stars Christoph Waltz, Matt Damon and Tilda Swinton.

Gallini-Durante was executive producer of the independent movie “White Shadow” along with Ryan Gosling.
