‘Empire’ Stars Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard to Host Fox Holiday Special

“White Hot Holidays” features a duet by the actors, as well as performances by Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Jamie Foxx

Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard just landed their own holiday special on Fox.

The “Empire” stars will bring music and variety offering “Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays” to air on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 9 p.m.

The duo will duet on the Fox special, which also boasts modern performances of classic holiday songs by entertainment superstars Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Jamie Foxx, among other surprise guests and performances.

The “Empire” midseason finale airs one week earlier in the same time slot. The back-half of the season kicks off March 30 on Fox.

“White Hot Holidays” is produced by Casey Patterson Entertainment and Don Mischer Productions. Henson and Howard produce alongside Vincent Cirrincione.

In its second season, “Empire” remains the top-rated entertainment series on broadcast television.
