The season finale of “Lip Sync Battle” will get a healthy dose of attitude with “Empire” stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard set to face off in a special hour-long episode.

The two play on-again, off-again divorced exes who have a volatile relationship personally and professionally as they battle for control of the family’s lucrative record company.

On “Lip Sync Battle,” they’ll duel on a different stage as they compete to out-perform each other while lip-syncing to famous songs.

Henson and Howard join an all-star roster of showdowns on the Spike TV series including Anne Hathaway vs Emily Blunt, John Krasinski vs Anna Kendrick and John Legend vs Common.

Eight weeks into the “Tonight Show” spinoff’s first season, the series is averaging 2.9 million total viewers per episode. That impressive total is the highest in network history for an original series, so it’s not surprising that it’s already been renewed for a 20-episode second season.

Henson and Howard are also set to co-host Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards, which airs June 18 at 9 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
