Entertainment One Picks-Up Leslie Bibb Comedy ‘Take Care’

The SXSW-premiered comedy will be released theatrically in late 2014

Leslie Bibb-led comedy “Take Care” has been acquired for North American distribution by Entertainment One Films (eOne), it was announced on Thursday.

Liz Tuccillo produced, wrote and directed the film also starring “The Newsroom’s” Thomas Sadoski. The story follows Bibb’s Frannie, who’s left incapacitated after a car accident. Desperate, she turns to her ex-boyfriend (Sadoski) to take care of her, much to the chagrin of his new girlfriend (Betty Gilpin).

Marin Ireland, Nadia Dajani, Michael Stahl-David and Tracee Chimo also star. “Take Care” premiered at the SXSW Festival in March.

“Liz is a force to be reckoned with and demonstrates that she is as tremendous a director as she is a writer and producer in her directorial debut,” said Berry Meyerowitz, eOne’s President of U.S. Film and Distribution. “‘Take Care’ is both side-splitting and enormously touching, and we know that audiences will laugh out loud and embrace her wonderful story.”
