Eric Shiu has been named vice president, marketing and communications by Entertainment One Television, the company said Monday.
The Canadian entertainment company has been bulking up its U.S. presence in recent years and fields such shows as Syfy’s “Haven,” AMC’s “Hell on Wheel” and Discovery’s “Klondike.”
Shiu will be based in Los Angeles, and is tasked with devising the company’s international marketing and communications strategy. He will report directly to Peter Emerson, president of eOne Television International.
Prior to eOne, Shiu spent 15 years in TV marketing and creative advertising at the likes of Lionsgate, Warner Bros. and FX Networks, where he worked on a wide variety of television and film campaigns.
