E! has released the first promo for its two-part episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” on Bruce Jenner’s transition into womanhood.
The one minute video features home movies of Bruce and his family as they describe their thoughts on his transition in voiceover.
“I just don’t like when people say Bruce is gonna be gone,” Kendall Jenner says tearfully at one point. Bruce responds, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Bruce’s other daughter, Kylie Jenner, says she’s ready to meet the female version of her father “when he’s ready.” She then adds, “When we’re both ready.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared in my life as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids,” Bruce says.
The two-part episode will air May 18 and 19 at 9 p.m.
Jenner identified himself as transgender in an interview with Diane Sawyer. The interview was an incredible ratings success, drawing 16.9 million viewers.
Shortly after the interview aired, E! announced that they will air a documentary series about Jenner’s transition starting in July.
