Universal has released the first image of Jamie Dornan from the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel, “Fifty Shades Darker.”

In the photo, Christian Grey (Dornan) wears a tuxedo and appears to be putting on a black masquerade mask, presumably preparing for more erotic adventures with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).

“Fifty Shades of Grey” generated plenty of controversy while in theaters, but that didn’t stop the film from grossing almost $600 million globally.

Niall Leonard, the husband of series author E.L. James, has been tapped to write the sequel after original writer Kelly Marcel left the project.

Universal announced that the first sequel will be released February 10, 2017, while the final chapter, “Fifty Shades Freed,” will hit theaters on February 9, 2018.
