Ratings: NBC Tops Tuesday, ‘Food Fighters’ Rises From Debut

Univision is second in ratings on rerun-heavy night

NBC topped Tuesday outright with an up “Food Fighters” and flat “America’s Got Talent.”

Univision finished the night second in ratings as Fox, CBS and the CW aired all repeats. For ABC, the “Celebrity Wife Swap” finale dipped slightly from last season’s ender — but aired two hours later this time around.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.0 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 8.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Food Fighters” at 8 p.m. got a 1.3/5 — up 30 percent from its premiere — and 4.8 million viewers. At 9, “America’s Got Talent” earned a night-high 2.4/8 and 10.5 million viewers.

Univision was second in ratings with a 1.4/5 and fourth in viewers with 3.3 million.

ABC was third in ratings with a 1.0/3 and in viewers with 3.4 million. “Extreme Weight Loss” at 8 had a 1.1/4 and 3.7 million viewers. The “Celebrity Wife Swap” finale at 10 got a 1.0/3 and 2.8 million viewers.

CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and second in viewers with 6.4 million, airing entirely reruns.

Telemundo and Fox tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.6/2. Telemundo was fifth in viewers with 1.5 million viewers, Fox — airing entirely repeats — was sixth with 1.3 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 794,000. It aired only reruns.
