Universal Television is holding on to one of its rising talents with a new overall deal.

Rashad Raisani has inked a two-year pact with the production company, which begins in June.

Currently a co-executive producer on NBC’s new spy drama “Allegiance,” Raisani began as a staff writer on USA Network’s long-running drama “Burn Notice” and rose through the ranks to a co-executive producer.

“We’re so pleased to have Rashad join us in this new capacity at Universal Television, where we will all benefit from his intelligence and terrific instincts,” said Universal TV’s executive vice president, Bela Bajaria, in a statement.

She continued, “We were fans of Rashad’s work on ‘Burn Notice’ and ‘White Collar,’ and having his expertise on ‘Allegiance’ has been invaluable.”

UTA and manager Larry Shuman represent Raisani.
