Fox News Primetime Tops All of Cable During Gator Attack, Orlando Shooting Aftermath

Fox News is the only network to surpass the 2 million viewer plateau for the week of June 13-19

Fox News Channel was the No. 1 rated network in all of cable primetime for the week of June 13-19. This is the second such finish in as many weeks for the network.

The week was filled with major news including the aftermath of the deadliest mass shooting in American history, the tragic Alligator attack at Disney World and the on-going presidential race.

Fox News averaged 2.1 million viewers in primetime, the only cable network to surpass the 2 million viewer plateau. HGTV, TBS, USA and TNT join Fox News among the top five primetime cable networks.

Among total day viewers, Fox News finished second to Nickelodeon, averaging 1.2 million viewers. Adult Swim, Cartoon Network and HGTV join Nickelodeon and Fox News among the top five cable networks in daytime.

While Fox News averaged 2 million viewers, neither CNN (941,000) nor MSNBC (972,000) managed to top 1 million. CNN finished No. 11 in primetime and No. 7 in total day, while MSNBC finished No. 9 in primetime and No. 13 in total day.
