‘Fox NFL Sunday’ to Broadcast Live From Primetime Emmy Red Carpet

TCA 2015: Football studio show will tie in to awards Sept. 20

Fox NFL Sunday will broadcast live from the red carpet at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 20 in Los Angeles.

News that the studio show would tie in with the Emmys was announced Thursday by the awards-show telecast’s executive producer Don Mischer at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour.

“I love any association with football, not just because I like to watch the games, but because they’ll run ads [for the Emmys] during the games, and all my friends will see me,” Emmys host Andy Samberg said following Mischer’s announcement.

The Primetime Emmy Awards telecast will be preceded by Fox’s broadcast of the NFC East matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

“Fox NFL Sunday” is hosted by Terry Bradshaw and Curt Menefee, who are joined by analysts Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Michael Strahan. Erin Andrews and Pam Oliver are both sideline reporters on the long-running show.
