NBC’s “Grimm” has booked two new tough-as-nails guest stars to stand against its fabled monster of the week.

Kirk Acevedo and Emily Rios will guest star on the NBC supernatural drama on an episode airing in early-2014, TheWrap has learned.

On the episode titled, “The Good Soldier,” Acevedo — whose TV credits include Fox’s “Fringe,” HBO’s “Oz” and NBC’s “Person of Interest” — will play Ron Hurd.

Ron is described as a tough-guy type who went straight from serving in the army to working in home security. The skills he possesses will come in handy when a dark secret from his army days comes back to haunt him.

Rios, whose TV credits include FX’s “The Bridge” and AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” will play Frankie Gonzales on the same episode.

Frankie is a hardened veteran who’s dealt admirably with a horrific trauma she incurred while serving. Strong-willed and tough-minded, she never backs down from a fight no matter how bad her odds may seem.

Acevedo is represented by Abrams Entertainment. Rios is repped by Domain Talent and Kass Management.

“Grimm” airs Fridays at 9/8c on NBC.
