“Game of Thrones” star Kristian Nairn, who played the beloved Hodor on the hit HBO series, will DJ the 22nd annual Critics Choice Awards this year.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor will spin at the Dec. 11 awards ceremony as well as the after party. Nairn is a veteran DJ and electronic music producer whose touring show is called “Rave of Thrones.”

Nairn starred on “Game of Thrones” from its first season until the sixth season, which concluded this past June. Hodor had a heartbreaking exit from the show after avid fans finally found out why his only word he ever speaks is “Hodor.”

In May, the actor said that his character might find his way back into the series.

“I couldn’t be happier how he has gone out. The interesting thing is it’s kinda left open. You don’t actually see him [die]. It’s implied,” Hairn said. “So who knows? He may come back as a White Walker, maybe he got away. But it’s a really good way to do it.”

This year’s Critics Choice Awards will be hosted by “Silicon Valley” star T.J. Miller and is presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association. The show will air live on Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on A&E.
