Turns out Bran Stark isn’t the only one in the “Game of Thrones” universe who has visions — Hodor actor Kristian Nairn predicted his character’s fate three years ago.

During an interview with Flicks and the City in 2013, Nairn explained how he wanted his character, Hodor, to die.

“I’d like to die fighting an army of White Walkers,” he said. “Yeah, just sort of a huge action scene would be nice. I’d enjoy that!”

In Sunday’s episode of “Game of Thrones,” Bran warged into young Hodor (Wyllis) during a vision in the past. In the present, White Walkers were attacking the Three Eyed Raven’s cave, leaving Hodor to protect Bran and Meera Reed from the slaughter. He is told to “hold the door,” which young Hodor repeats in the past but then ultimately condenses it to “Hodor,” therefore revealing how Wyllis came to only say that one word.

In the present, Hodor is attacked by the White Walkers while holding the door to ensure Meera and Bran’s safe getaway, and while it’s unclear whether he was killed or not, many fans have come to assume Hodor died.
