‘Game of Thrones’ Leads TV Sound Editing Nominations

Motion Picture Sound Editors’ Golden Reel Awards also nominate “Boardwalk Empire,” “Breaking Bad,” “The Walking Dead,” “Sons of Anarchy” and more

The Motion Picture Sound Editors, which announced its film nominations on Wednesday, has now announced nominees for the 61st annual MPSE Golden Reel Awards in additional television, computer entertainment, direct-to-video, special venue and student categories.

“Game of Thrones,” with three nominations, and “Boardwalk Empire,” “Breaking Bad,” “The Walking Dead” and “Sons of Anarchy” were among the leaders in the TV categories.

The Golden Reel Awards will be presented on Feb. 16 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles.
