Gwen Stefani Poured Her Soul Into ‘Call Me Maybe’ in a Lip Sync Battle With Fallon and Shelton

No doubt about this one

Synergy can be sexy, too!

With less than a week to go before she makes her official debut on “The Voice,” Gwen Stefani made it clear that she is very ready — and excited — for a regular role on television.

The No Doubt singer is a new coach on the hit reality series, which means that she gets to be a guest on the “Tonight” Show to promote the NBC show. She was joined on the program by her carefree “Voice” co-star Blake Shelton, where the pair took on host Jimmy Fallon in a lip syncing competition.

It’s a pretty long segment, but the most important thing you’ll see comes at about 4:30, when Stefani “performs” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call My Maybe” with the sort of verve that you might mistake for a late-90’s No Doubt concert.

Ms. Jepsen may want to take notes, since she’s going to be forced to sing that song for the rest of her life.
