Gwyneth Paltrow and Mark Ruffalo have some trust issues in sex addiction comedy, “Thanks for Sharing.”
A clip from the upcoming directorial debut of “The Kids Are Alright” screenwriter Stuart Blumberg shows Paltrow walking in on Ruffalo — a recovering sex addict — making a suspicious phone call in the middle of the night.
She demands to see the phone, but Ruffalo does not appear to appreciate her intrusion into his privacy.
The ensemble romantic comedy centering on three sex addicts at various stages of their recovery also stars Tim Robbins, Josh Gad, Joely Richardson, Patrick Fugit, and pop singer Pink.
Roadside Attractions acquired the film's U.S. distribution rights earlier this month after it screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. ”Thanks for Sharing” debuts in theaters on Sept. 20.
