The romantic comedy was acquired by Roadside Attractions earlier this month
A clip from the upcoming directorial debut of “The Kids Are Alright” screenwriter Stuart Blumberg shows Paltrow walking in on Ruffalo — a recovering sex addict — making a suspicious phone call in the middle of the night.
She demands to see the phone, but Ruffalo does not appear to appreciate her intrusion into his privacy.
Roadside Attractions acquired the film’s U.S. distribution rights earlier this month after it screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. “Thanks for Sharing” debuts in theaters on Sept. 20.
