A new pro-Hillary Clinton commercial features the classic Carole King song “(You Make Me Feel Like) a Natural Woman” over images of American women working, running marathons and stepping aboard spacecraft — only this time sound bites of Donald Trump’s sexist remarks are edited throughout.
The ad, from Priorities USA Action, doesn’t reveal the Trump portion until viewers are convinced it’s an uplifting tribute to women. Then, suddenly, in comes Trump with, “She ate like a pig.”
The spot also features old interviews with Trump about women’s bodies, boob jobs, being flat-chested and a clip in which he calls one of them a “disgusting pig.”
The commercial ends with the message, “How does he make you feel? Tell him. Vote.”
Priorities USA Action was founded in 2011 and aims to “educate and engage Americans to speak out and stand strong against the outdated views of the far right that threaten our democracy and undermine the middle class.”
Meanwhile, Trump has taken a one-point lead over Clinton on Tuesday, according to the latest ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll, produced for ABC by Langer Research Associates.
Trump picked up support from 46 percent of likely voters, compared to 45 percent for Clinton. Gary Johnson dropped to three percent and Jill Stein came in at two percent.
