Written by William Broyles and military special operations veteran David Broyles, “Six” follows a squad of elite U.S. soldiers, Navy SEAL Team Six, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover an American citizen working with the terrorists.

The network has greenlit an eight-episode season.

The series will be executive produced by William and David Broyles, Harvey and Bob Weinstein, Alfredo Barrios, Jr. and George W. Perkins. Bruce C. McKenna will serve as Executive Consultant, and join Barrios, William and David Broyles, and Karen Campbell in writing the episodes. Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Mitchell Hall will serve as the series’ technical adviser.
