Ratings: NBC’s ‘Hollywood Game Night’ Loses to CBS Reruns

“Big Brother” network tops all of broadcast on Thursday

NBC’s “Hollywood Game Night” returned after taking last Thursday off, but the Jane Lynch game show proved no match for CBS reruns of “The Big Bang Theory” and “Life in Pieces.”

CBS was first in ratings with a 1.1 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted demo and in total viewers with an average of 4.8 million, according to preliminary numbers.

Also of note, Univision finished third throughout primetime in the key 18-49 demographic, rolling with soccer, which played well among the younger crowd.

Following the sitcom repeats, CBS’ “Big Brother” scored a 1.8/8 and 5.9 million viewers. At 10, “Zoo” received a 0.6/2 and 2.9 million viewers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 0.9/4 and in viewers with 4.3 million. “Hollywood Game Night” at 8 had a 0.9/4 and 3.9 million viewers. At 9, “The Wall” got a 1.1/4 and 5 million viewers. “The Night Shift” at 10 finished primetime to a 0.7/3 and 4.1 million viewers.

Univision was third in ratings with a 0.8/3, but fifth in viewers with 1.8 million.

Fox finished fourth with a 0.7/3 and third in viewers with 2.6 million. “Beat Shazam” at 8 had a 0.8/4 and 2.8 million viewers. At 9, “Love Connection” got a 0.7/3 and 2.3 million viewers.

ABC was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/3 and fourth in viewers with 2.5 million. “Boy Band” at 8 settled for a 0.5/2 and 2.3 million viewers. “Battle of the Network Stars” at 9 received a 0.7/3 and 2.5 million viewers. At 10, “The Gong Show” managed a 0.6/3 and 2.7 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and seventh in viewers with 1.38 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/2 and sixth in viewers with 1.39 million. “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” at 8 had a 0.4/2 and 1.8 million viewers. At 9, “Hooten & the Lady” settled for a 0.2/1 and 997,000 viewers.
