Hulu’s “Deadbeat” will live for another season, the streaming service announced on Tuesday.

The series produced by Brad Pitt‘s Plan B Entertainment and Lionsgate Television has been renewed for a third campaign with a 13-episode order.

The half-hour comedy stars Tyler Labine (“Tucker & Dale vs. Evil”) as Kevin Pacalioglu, a hapless but gifted medium who will go to any lengths to help New York’s ghosts settle their unfinished business. Brandon T. Jackson (“Tropic Thunder”) plays his savvy best friend, Roofie, while Cat Deeley (“So You Think You Can Dance”) stars as a glamorous celebrity medium rival.

Cody Heller and Brett Konner created the series, which is executive produced by showrunner Dan Lagana. Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Sarah Esberg from Plan B are producers on the show.

A premiere date has not yet been announced.

“‘Deadbeat’ is a uniquely imaginative and charming series,” Craig Erwich, senior vice president and head of content for Hulu, said in a statement. “We are very happy to bring it back for another hilarious season and look forward to sharing new ghostly stories.”
