ABC is getting ready to dance -- this time with Kathy Griffin.

The comic/reality show star has signed on to host "Let's Dance," a new reality competition series in which celebrities re-enact famous dance routines from pop culture.

According to the network's website, the series will debut Monday, Nov. 23, at 9:30 p.m., immediately following the performance finale of "Dancing With the Stars."

ABC has ordered five episodes of "Dance," which lets contestants choose their favorite celebrity routines. The top finishers return for a grand finale in December.

After the 90-minute premiere, "Dance" will air Mondays at 9 p.m. Its finale is slated for Tuesday at 8 in mid-December.

"American Idol" producer FremantleMedia North America is behind the series, news of which was first reported in June.

Yah, more Kathy Griffin! Boo, another dance show.

just dec 1st - Charlie Brown Christmas and New animated Prep and Landing

What Tuesdays at 8 after V ends its four-episode run? Comedies are 9-10, but has ABC announced plans for the 8 p.m. hour? I can't keep up anymore!

ABC already has Christmas specials locked in for 8-9p Mondays through the end of Dec. I assume it will air Mondays at 9p, since with the Scrubs/BOt announcement last week, it seems every other night is filled. plus DWTS airs Mondays, so it makes sense. I assume the premiere is 90 minutes 9:30-11:00, so the only question is will it be 2 hours or 1 the rest of Dec. If CASTLE is preempted Nov 24, they will have aired 9 eps, usually nets run 10 before Jan, so it could be 2 hours or it could be 1 hour weekly and CASTLE will air a bunch of reruns.
