James Corden, Jamie Foxx Sing Public Domain Songs (Video)

The duo sing songs like “Pop Goes the Weasel” and “Row Row Row Your Boat”

James Corden loves jamming out to popular songs with famous singers, but admitted it’s not always easy to get the rights to do so on television.

So to switch things up, he decided to sing public domain songs with none other than Jamie Foxx. The duo put their own soulful spin on classic songs like “Pop Goes the Weasel,” “Row Row Row Your Boat,” “Bingo” and “Twinkle Twinkle Like Star.”

“Is it just me? It’s feeling sexy in here!” Corden said.

Foxx then started to sing Coldplay’s “Yellow” — although it most definitely is not a public domain song.

“Look at the stars, look how they shine for you…” Foxx started to sing.

“No! That is not a public domain song, that is incredibly expensive!” Corden shouted. “Stick to the rules!”

“I’m sorry, I’m not trying to wreck your show…” Foxx responded.

Corden and Foxx got up on their feet and rocked out for the grand finale of the show, with the audience clapping and dancing along.
