Jamie Foxx might be hitting the bag in preparation to play Mike Tyson in an upcoming biopic, according to the former heavyweight champion of the world.

“Me and Jamie Foxx are in discussion, and we gonna do it,” Tyson told the Daily Mirror. “Within a year to 18 months, we’re going to do the Mike Tyson story and he’s going to portray me.”

Since the 48-year-old boxer’s glory days are nearly 28 years behind him after becoming the youngest heavyweight champion at just 20, Tyson says filmmakers will use CGI technology to make Foxx, 46, appear younger.

Tyson — who has been the subject of multiple documentaries, appeared in “The Hangover” franchise, performed his own one-man show and is now the star of an animated series on Adult Swim — also says filmmaker Martin Scorsese is involved.
