‘Jason Bourne’ Trailer Delivers Knockout Action, Buff Matt Damon (Video)

Paul Greengrass’ action sequel will hit theaters July 29

Matt Damon delivers a knockout blow in the first trailer for “Jason Bourne,” the actor’s fourth film in the action-packed Universal franchise.

The new footage, which debuted last week at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, showcased Bourne’s usual dilemma — looking for answers while being viciously pursued by enemies.

“What if he’s not coming for us? What if it’s something else?” newcomer Alicia Vikander asks of Bourne’s intentions in the trailer.

Julia Stiles returns as Damon’s action star counterpart, keeping his pace through motorcycle chases, shootouts and the like — including an insane chase sequence that unfolds on the Las Vegas Strip.

“It’s taken all of us almost 10 years to find a new story for our character, Jason Bourne,” producer Frank Marshall told movie theater owners last week at CinemaCon. “We said, ‘We really want to try and crack this’ … and we did.”

Director Paul Greengrass returned for his third outing in the franchis — and the first since 2012’s spinoff “The Bourne Legacy” with Jeremy Renner.

And Tommy Lee Jones and Vincent Cassel costar in the action sequel, which filmed in Berlin, Athens, London, Washington D.C. and Las Vegas — to name a few locations.

“Jason Bourne” will hit theaters July 29.
