Todd is departing her post as president of film at the Mark Gordon Company, where she recently produced CBS Films’ upcoming 2013 release, “The To-Do List.” She also produced the Sony Pictures Classics film, “Celeste and Jesse Forever,” which is currently in theaters.

"We have enormous respect for Jennifer and look forward to working with her,” Affleck and Damon said in a statement. “She is great at producing and developing material, and we believe that with her we can take the company to the next level.”

Pearl Street Films is currently developing and producing a project based on the notorious Boston crime figure, Whitey Bulger, for Warner Bros. Pictures. Affleck will direct, and Damon is attached to star as Bulger.

Additionally, Warner Bros. is set to release “Argo” on Oct. 12, which is directed and produced by Affleck and in which he also stars.

Prior to working with the Mark Gordon Company, Todd and her sister, Suzanne, enjoyed a successful partnership under their Team Todd banner. Their joint credits include Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland,” as well as “Across the Universe,” “Memento” and the “Austin Powers” trilogy.
