Former U.S. President will discuss his new book about discrimination and violence against women
Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States, will drop in on CBS's “Late Show With David Letterman” on March 24, the network said Wednesday.
The former peanut farmer will be on hand to discuss his new book, “A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence, and Power,” which is out March 25.
The book, which draws from Carter's own experience as well as the testimony of women worldwide, is a call to action regarding discrimination and violence against women throughout the world.
This will be Carter's third appearance on “Late Show,” following appearances in Oct. 2004 and Sept. 1993.
