Jimmy Kimmel is everywhere! Literally.

Through the miracle of modern technology, the ABC late-night host will appear on a Nashville stage following the 48th Annual CMA Awards, while physically filming from across the country. The comedian will be transported via hologram from his Hollywood, Calif. studio to Tennessee on Nov. 5, immediately following the awards show.

Hologram USA technology will allow Kimmel to help celebrate the so-called “Country Music’s Biggest Night” along with a live audience at the CMA Theater in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, which is physically across the street from the Bridgestone Arena, where the awards show itself takes place.

Kimmel will perform his regular monologue in Los Angeles, as well as subsequent interviews. The comedian’s first guest will be in-studio in L.A., while his second guest will be an unannounced CMA Award winner from that evening’s event who will be interviewed as a hologram by Kimmel on stage in Hollywood.

The show will also feature a musical performance from reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year Florida Georgia Line from Nashville that will be hologrammed to Hollywood, to appear as if live on Kimmel’s outdoor stage for his studio audience.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood host the CMA Awards.
