In a shocking turn of events, “The View” co-host Joy Behar actually agreed with GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump on something.

Behar said that the billionaire is in the right for calling out fellow candidate Ted Cruz for sending out a mailer emblazoned with the words “Voter Violation” on the front, as well as an email implying that Ben Carson was quitting the race.

“I think in this case Trump is correct. He’s correct,” Behar said during an episode of “Larry King Now” on Friday. “Those kind of dirty tricks should not be tolerated. If you don’t stop that kind of behavior — nip it in the bud — it’ll go all the way up to the Presidential [election]. So no, you can’t trust Cruz.”

In a flurry of tweets on Wednesday morning, Trump said, “Ted Cruz didn’t win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!”

“During primetime of the Iowa Caucus, Cruz put out a release that [Ben Carson] was quitting the race, and to caucus (or vote) for Cruz,” he continued. “Many people voted for Cruz over Carson because of this Cruz fraud. Also, Cruz sent out a VOTER VIOLATION certificate to thousands of voters.”

Trump also accused Cruz of lying to Iowa voters by telling them that Trump was in favor of ObamaCare and the pro-choice movement.

“Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified,” he concluded.

Cruz beat Trump in a tight race for the Republican Iowa Caucus, securing 27.6 percent of the votes to Trump’s 24.3 percent.

Cruz was lagging behind Trump in some polls in the days before the caucus, but managed to pull a last-minute upset.
