Sheriffs say his neighbors videotaped the 19-year-old pop star during the alleged vandalism and they are investigating
Reports that singer Justin Bieber is growing up appear to be greatly exaggerated.
The 19-year-old pop star was under investigation after being named as a suspect in a misdemeanor vandalism and assault case – for allegedly throwing eggs at a neighbor's house — Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told TheWrap Sunday.
Bieber allegedly egged the house in a gated community in the L.A. suburb of Calabasas Thursday night while his neighbor and neighbor's daughter were on the balcony, Whitmore said, adding that they videotaped the incident. Whitmore says Bieber has to this point declined to speak with deputies.
Depending on the damage estimate, a charge could rise to a felony, Whitmore said.
In October, prosecutors declined to charge Bieber after a neighbor complained he drove recklessly through the area.
A message left for Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, weren't immediately returned Sunday morning.
