Kanye West Makes Surprise 'Arsenio' Appearance (Video)

Big Sean and Rick Ross were there, too

Arsenio Hall is having a big week for musical guests: Kanye West dropped in Thursday, a night after Prince took over the show.

Rick Ross was Thursday's official musical guest, but he didn't actually appear until almost three minutes into his song, “Sanctified.” Big Sean started it off, and then Kanye sprinted out on stage.

Prince's appearance Wednesday boosted ratings for “The Arsenio Hall Show” by 56 percent over its average for the February sweeps period. His Purple Badness answered fan questions about when he last watched “Purple Rain” (he watched one song when it came on TV a few days ago) and whether he's ever bought anything from an infomercial (“What's an infomercial?” he asked).

I don't understand what you mean? Is it that it features many ethnicities? Every late night show caters to the audience it serves. Evidently you don't belong in the Arsenio audience, and that's ok. Don't keep other from getting to know people who come from where they come from and who they relate too.

He means that other TV show personalities who happen to be white have a mixed guest list(and audience) but Arsenio's is almost exclusively black which is the trend of the future(colleges, sports teams, etc)

Thanks! You said what I was trying not to say. In 2014 there are still people who believe that there are no other people in the world besides “white people.” You are correct , but Arsenio has always been known to showcase the where are they now and introduce new talent to the world. there are a lot of white stars who would've never been on Johnny Carson, Letterman, etc. Can you say Jim Carey??? As long as he was on In Living Color, none of the old white guys wanted him, until “they saw him appear in mainstream films. There has to be an outlet for all people to be known and discovered. There are other black and brown people in Hollywood besides Will Smith, Halle Berry, and Denzel Washington. Until the other shows realize this, we must have the Arsenios of the world. Respectfully…….Besides how do we know that more white guest haven't been invited! They do have the right to refuse you know. Plus if you notice, a majority of Arsenios guest would've never been showcased on the other shows because they don't consider these people relevant. Sad, so sad.
