Kerry Washington’s ‘Scandal’-Inspired Clothing Line Debuting This Fall

The star of the ABC drama teamed up with its costume designer and The Limited to develop the fashion line

Fashion industry, it’s handled.

“Scandal” star Kerry Washington has teamed up with costume designer Lyn Paolo and The Limited head designer Elliot Staples to develop a new fashion line inspired by the hit ABC drama, the network announced on Wednesday.

The collaboration is the first of its kind between a national retailer, top-rated network TV show, its costume designer and leading lady. It’s also the first Hollywood partnership for The Limited, a specialty apparel retail tailored for women.

The collection consists of tops, pants, jackets and outwear, which will arrive online and in stores on Sept. 22, with prices beginning at $49.

“By creating a line inspired by the show, we are introducing a collection that embodies the elegance and power of the ‘Scandal’ aesthetic for real-life gladiators and everyday fashionistas,” Washington said in a statement. “The collection is a nod to our devoted fans, to fans of fashion and to women everywhere who are inspired to boldly pursue their passions and look good while doing it.”
