Lady Gaga‘s legions of Little Monsters received a special treat on Tuesday night, as the “Poker Face” chanteuse dropped the video for her new song “Perfect Illusion.”
The track features Gaga singing and dancing in a pair of backside-baring denim short-shorts and driving around in the desert, kicking up dust.
Simple as the concept of the video is, the clip exploded on Twitter, with fans and critics lighting up social media with their reactions under the hashtag #LadyGagaNewVideo.
“I was in shook!! The ending of the Perfect Illusion music video is AMAZING!” went one rave.
“So the whole time she was singing/ performing it was a #PerfectIllusion, none of it was real, she was just imagining it!” another fan theorized.
“LOVE THE VIDEO!!!” read one simple assessment.
