Lamar Odom is suddenly on the road to recovery after slipping what was feared to be a terminal coma last week.
The NBA star was discovered unconscious on Oct. 13 at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada, which he promptly turned into Odom and Gomorrah. According to 911 calls, Odom had taken cocaine before checking in, and had ingested “up to 10” herbal sexual performance enhancers during his $75,000 stay.
Since then reports have speculated imminent death, which was upgraded to kidney failure and subsequent transplantation, which has since given way to breathing on his own, which will presumably end in a prognosis of mild itching.
Despite filing for divorce in 2013, Odom’s estranged wife Khloe Kardashian has reportedly been by her husband’s bedside through the whole ordeal whether he likes it or not, but E! denies reports that “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” cameras have been filming inside the hospital.
