New ‘Lego Batman Movie’ Trailer Mocks ‘Batman v Superman’ (Video)

Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight makes a quick cameo as Lego Alfred reminds Bruce Wayne he’s been mourning his parents’ death in every movie, so far

The new “Lego Batman Movie” trailer mocks Bruce Wayne for mourning the death of his parents in every single movie, so far, including “Batman v Superman.”

“I’ve seen you go through similar phases in 2016, 2012, 2008, 2005, 1997, 1995, 1992, 1989 and that weird one in 1966,” Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) tells Batman, voiced by Will Arnett, after he catches him looking at the family portraits.

Batman, denying it, breaks out in a dance and hopes that Alfred recorded it, because he should ABR — “Always Be Recording.”

The new trailer also makes fun of the second trailer coming out in just under a week.

The Warner Bros. film will also feature the voices of Rosario Dawson, Mariah Carey, Michael Cera, and Zach Galifianakis. Chris McKay directed with Seth Grahame-Smith writing the screenplay.

The new trailer comes just four days after “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, grossed $170 million domestically during its opening weekend.

“The Lego Batman Movie” will debut in 2017.
