The world is gushing over a Swedish hunk who looks very much like a young Leonardo DiCaprio.
Konrad Annerud has taken the Instagram universe by storm, posting modeling pics, shirtless photos and a series of shots with cigarettes in which he looks like he could be DiCaprio’s twin. And he seems to enjoy the attention.
“It can become a bit hard sometimes when people call me Leo instead of my name,” the 21-year-old model told Swedish website Nyheter. “I get to hear that I look like him quite often, especially since I am a bartender in a nightclub. But it’s fun to be like him. He’s handsome.”
While he is flattered, he said that sometimes, it gets a little chaotic to be mistaken for one of the greatest actors of all time.
“It’s much worse when I am abroad,” he told Nyheter. “When I was in Italy last summer, I kind of felt like I wanted to shave off my hair. It was chaos. People shouted ‘Leo!’ and wanted to take pictures all the time. It was the craziest thing I ever experienced.”
Meanwhile, the real DiCaprio will be on-screen for “The Revenant,” hitting theaters on Dec. 25.
