Macklemore Denies Costume at Concert Was Anti-Semitic (Video)

Rapper Macklemore denies he was trying to make fun of Jews when he performed in a costume that included a fake nose, wig and beard.

“A fake witches nose, wig, and beard = random costume,” he tweeted Monday. “Not my idea of a stereotype of anybody.”

The rapper performed in the costume at the EMP in Seattle on Friday. Offense began to brew online as photos of Macklemore’s outfit made the rounds.

“Macklemore performs surprise show in offensive costume,” The Daily Dot proclaimed.
