The actor, en route to Star Wars Celebration this week in Orlando, gave the airline its first fun moment in days

Luke Skywalker Mark Hamill

While flying today on a United flight, “Star Wars” star Mark Hamill provided the airline with the first fun moment it’s had in days, after a fellow passenger shouted the franchise’s most famous catchphrase, ” TheWrap has learned.

Hamill was on his way to Orlando, Florida for Star Wars Celebration 2017, Lucasfilm’s now-annual convention promoting the franchise and its fandom happening April 13-16. According to passenger Dustin Sandoval, the Digital Marketing Director for Walt Disney Studios, Hamill experienced some trouble opening one of the plane’s bathroom doors. At that point, a fellow passenger shouted the only thing that, let’s be honest, any of you reading this would:

“Use the force!”

Maybe Hamill can use the force to turn United around because the company is currently under fire after videos showing a man being forcibly dragged off a United Airlines flight went viral early Sunday night.

Star Wars Celebration will take place in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center on April 13-16. It’s widely expected that Disney and Lucasfilm will debut the first trailer for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” though no statement confirming this has been made.
