While there is no official confirmation of a third season of “Daredevil” yet, titular star Charlie Cox did reveal that there will be more of Matt Murdock coming soon.

“What we do know is, at the end of this year, we’re going to be making ‘The Defenders,’ and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome,” the actor said during a press event for Netflix in Paris on Monday.

Marvel and Netflix had no comment.

“Defenders” is Marvel and Netflix’s planned superhero team-up show consisting of Cox’s Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Iron Fist.

Cox stayed mum on plot details, but added, “I’m very excited to see how those worlds combine … and interested to see, tonally, how those shows become one.”

There is no release date for “Defenders” yet, though the next installment in the franchise, “Luke Cage,” is set to premiere on September 30. Season 2 of “Jessica Jones” has also been officially confirmed.
