“White Collar” star goes ’50s chic in Ryan Murphy’s creepy anthology series

Looks like Matt Bomer will be mixing business with leather on “American Horror Story: Freak Show.”

“White Collar” star Bomer, who worked with “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy on HBO’s “The Normal Heart,” reunites with Ryan on the fourth installment of FX’s creepy anthology series. And now Out.com has an exclusive first look at Bomer in character for the show.

From the looks of things, Bomer is period-perfect for the season, which is set at a freak show in 1950s Florida, his hair slicked back in a pompadour as he sports a leather jacket.

Not much is known about Bomer’s character, which will debut on the Nov. 5 episode of the show. However, earlier this year, Murphy told reporters that Bomer has a “seven-page scene” that’s “really fucked up” with fellow newcomer Michael Chiklis, who plays the freak show’s strongman on the show. He also has a scene with Finn Wittrock (who plays spoiled rich kid Dandy Mott) that, according to Murphy, is “probably the scariest thing we’ve ever done. It’s a true horror scene.”
