Hollywood seems to be fearing a real-life disaster movie.

As Carmageddon draws near, many Hollywood studios and agencies are planning to close up shop early on Friday in preparation for the fallout. (The initial lane closings will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 53-hour closure of the 405 between the 10 and 101 freeways.)

Here's what we've been able to confirm so far:

>> Paramount is allowing its folks to leave at 1, Lionsgate at 2. Fox, on the other hand, plans on a regular work day. Warner Bros. and Sony also plan on a regular work day, but will consider requests from employees on a case-by-case basis. Some sources at Sony, however, say its film department mostly will be gone after lunch. Universal allows early release on Fridays in the summer, anyway.

>> MTV Networks closes up at 1, HBO at 3 and Showtime at 4. CBS has not yet announced its plans. NBC and ABC have not responded to TheWrap's request for comment.

>> As for the agencies, UTA is letting employees go at 1, WME is closing at 3. CAA is closing early but has yet to confirm the exact time.
